Akhil Reddy Pakala is a highly accomplished Senior Hardware Engineer at Samsung, with a PhD in Computer Hardware Engineering from Rice University. As an RTL designer, Akhil is responsible for designing digital circuits for PHY, and has a relevant experience of 3.78 years in the industry. Prior to his current role, Akhil served as a Software Intern at Samsung, where he worked on developing a smart alert system in mobiles using Tizen OS. This system alerts the users' emergency contacts automatically in case of any unforeseen situation. He also worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Detect Technologies, where he developed an Indoor Positioning System. This system predicts the position of objects up to 10cm accuracy where GPS is ineffective, and is currently used to monitor drone position during industrial inspection. Akhil holds a Dual Degree (M Tech + BTech) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Hardware Engineering from Rice University. He has a strong grasp of Mobile and designer tech stacks, and is always eager to learn more. With his extensive experience in the industry, coupled with his academic achievements, Akhil is a highly skilled engineer with a passion for innovation.
